A boy in Oshawa has been airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre after falling from a tree Thursday afternoon, Durham police say.
Around 12:10 p.m., an ambulance was called to a field near Oxford Street and Dwight Avenue after reports a youth had been struck by a tree and was without vital signs, police said in an email.
Paramedics found a boy under the age of 12 and provided medical assistance, bringing him back to consciousness, police said.
The boy was then taken to a trauma centre.
