The fifth annual Swing for Change golf tournament helped drive a record $70,000 in support of Rowan House Society.
Held June 8 at the Turner Valley Golf Club and hosted by Western Financial Group, the annual tournament supports Rowan House Society’s work providing crisis intervention, long-term support and preventative education for people affected by domestic violence and abuse across southern Alberta.
Their recent 2026 tournament was sold out for the first time in the fundraiser’s history, helping generate record high funds for the charity.

“We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our community for their ongoing support. Together, through Swing for Change golf tournament, we are building something extraordinary: a community where every woman, every child, and every family have the opportunity to live safely, thrive, and call a place home,” Soldan said.
Soldan thanked the community for its continued support, saying each of the organization’s programs plays an important role in helping families.
“At Rowan House Society, everything we do is guided by seven core programs that serve women, children, and families in our community. Together, they form a circle of care—offering safety in crisis, support in healing, and hope for the future,” Soldan said.
