Edmonton police are looking for several men after two 14-year-old girls were allegedly approached in the city’s southwest earlier this week.
EPS says the alleged incident took place around 8 a.m. near 18A Avenue SW and Rutherford Road SW.
Reports indicate that the two teens were walking when they were allegedly followed and then approached by several men in a grey Chrysler Pacifica van.

It is believed that the men began to shout at the teens before allegedly trying to lure them into the van while driving erratically with the side door open. Following this, the teens ran and a bystander called 911.
It is believed that the van was last seen driving north on Rutherford Road, and was later seen near James Mowatt Trail and 17 Avenue.
Reports indicate that five or six men were in the van at the time, and all are believed to be around 30 to 40 years old.
Police also believe that a second silver vehicle may have been involved and are looking for a person of interest.
