After largely being done with their transfer business regarding incomings with Saibari and Brown, Bayern’s clear objective in the transfer market now is to sell João Palhinha, Bryan Zaragoza, Sacha Boey and Alexander Nübel. The club’s bosses are expecting €50-60m in transfer fees to be raised through these sales. The four players have already been informed that they have no role in the team next season. But the problem is that suitors are difficult to find – and when clubs do show interest, they try to drive the price as low as possible, as Tottenham are currently doing with Palhinha. The market for them is currently quiet, and none of them will be able to use the World Cup to increase their value.
In addition, if offers arrive for Hiroki Itō and/or Min-jae Kim, Bayern would also be willing to negotiate. While there’s no urgent need to sell them, unlike the four players mentioned earlier, any additional income would be welcome.
