Community concerns spark late-night noise restrictions for Stampede concerts

Concerts happening on weeknights during this year’s Calgary Stampede will have to end by midnight, with “cool-down music” permitted until 12:30 a.m. Allowable noise and bass levels have also been reduced. As CBC Calgary’s Brendan Coulter explains, the president of Penny Lane Entertainment, the parent company of Cowboys, says the new noise caps are too restrictive.
