Article content
With NHL hockey now over, it’s time to turn our attention to the CFL football season.

Here are quarterback/Prime Minister Mark Carney’s six basic plays:
No.1: If the Opposition asks a question, take limo to nearest airport;
No. 2: Fake a pass to Alberta, then take a knee in the end zone, awarding a safety to Quebec;
No. 3: Go long on promises to protect 11 years of economic sacks;
No. 4: If still getting blank stares from senior cabinet players in the huddle, just strip the Opposition of yet another great idea;
No. 5: Blame the American referee;
No. 6: Turn the ball over to China.

SHUT OFF JUSTIN’S SPOTLIGHT
Like many others, I am not a fan of Justin Trudeau. As prime minister, he was an absolute disaster for Canada. He was nothing more than a national embarrassment.
Trudeau is no longer prime minister, thank goodness, and he can go anywhere he likes as long as he has zero role in the running of Canada.
Why cater to his enormous ego by giving him the spotlight his narcissism craves?

THE VACATIONING PM
Have your readers noticed that Prime Minister Mark Carney seems to be out to set some kind of record in Parliament? He has now been absent 91 times for Question Period! Of course he has been on the road with his imaginary trade deals, but how many has he actually made?
This country desperately needs an election.
