An investigation is underway after a WFPS fire truck caught fire Saturday morning. 

City officials say the fire broke out in the engine compartment of the truck around 9 a.m. near the intersection of Osborne Street and Morley Avenue.

Firefighters discovered the fire after returning to the truck from a call.

Dispatchers sent another fire engine to the scene, and firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
