City of Toronto celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Month with weekend events

The City of Toronto celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Month this weekend, with a series of events at Biidaasige Park. The events, held in partnership with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, featured live music, cultural demonstrations and Indigenous vendors. A sunrise ceremony was held to close out festivities on Sunday. CBC’s Tyler Cheese has the story.
