BREAK IT DOWN:

Sydney Taylor 15+ Points (-156)

While the Chicago Sky have been on an unfortunate skid since losing Rickea Jackson early in the season, other players have stepped up to help pick up the scoring slack. Taylor, specifically, has been shooting lights out over her last three games, averaging 24 points per game while shooting an insane 67% from the field in two of those three outings. While she hasn’t provided much more than scoring upside, Taylor has been a bright spot for a struggling Sky team, and I expect her momentum to carry her over 15 points tonight.

Flau’jae Johnson Points 11+ (-124)

Johnson began the season shooting at a high volume without much efficiency, but has recently improved her shot selection as she settles into her rookie season. Despite the Storm being on a 10-game losing streak, they continue to put up a fight and have kept multiple games within a five-point margin. Johnson has been, when given solid minutes, a consistent offensive option, averaging 11.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while recording nine games with 11+ points. While it’s not guaranteed her shots will fall at an efficient clip, Johnson continues to be aggressive attacking the basket, and the public is backing her to keep it rolling tonight.

Caitlin Clark 22+ Points (-109)

Clark’s recent stretch has been about as consistent as it gets. Over her last four games, she’s scored 25, 21, 26, and 26 points, respectively, while adding 33 assists to the box score. Despite losing back-to-back games to the Dream, who have more size and dominate the glass, Clark’s aggressiveness and willingness to shoot haven’t wavered, though her three-point efficiency isn’t where she’d like it to be at just 33.3% on the season. She’s the offensive engine that keeps the Fever charging, and I expect her to come out firing after two losses and a favorable matchup against the 5-12 Mercury.
