Emergency crews responded before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday to calls for a house fire near Royal Salisbury Way and Archdekin Drive, Peel paramedics told CBC News.
They said one person was pronounced dead at the scene and that no one was transported to hospital.
Peel police said they would be providing an update at the scene around 8 a.m. Thursday.
