House-made pasta will anchor every service at Rosalia Osteria, its owners say.
Dom and Frank Morra are at it again.
The brothers, who’ve already opened a variety of Italian restaurants in Vancouver, have announced another new location and concept.
They’re taking over 1127 Mainland St., where Robba da Matti just closed down, and opening Rosalia Osteria.
“Named after their beloved grandmother Rosalia, the intimate new restaurant seats 33 guests across a 600-square-foot space and will serve a pasta-forward menu inspired by the warmth and tradition of Sunday dinner at Nonna’s table,” reads a press release about the incoming restaurant.
Rosalia Osteria will run seven days a week for dinner service.
“House-made pasta anchors every service, accompanied by shareable antipasti, fresh seasonal salads, classic Italian desserts, and a thoughtfully curated drinks program,” reads the release.
The interior is inspired by Italian piazzas with rose tones and a courtyard patio vibe.
The brothers are well entrenched in Vancouver’s food scene, with multiple Dante Italian Sandwich locations, the Straight Brooklyn Pizza Chain and Via Tevere.
