Montreal police are investigating what they describe as a suspicious death after a body was found in a tent downtown Thursday morning.
Police say they received a 911 call at 8 a.m. about an unresponsive person near the intersection of De Lorimier Avenue and Logan Street.
Officers located the body, and first responders determined the person was dead. Police say the victim was 36 years old.
A security perimeter was established so investigators could search the area.
