Winnipeg police say two 17-year-olds have been charged in connection with the death of 16-year-old Bruno Delmar Young.
Around 8 a.m. on June 25, WPS responded to a report of a wellbeing call in a parking lot along Wellington Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a teen already dead. He was later identified as Young, noting that he was a member of Bloodvein River First Nation who had been living in Winnipeg.
During the evening hours, police attended a store along King Edward Street, where they took two 17-year-olds into custody.
Both have since been charged with second degree murder.
