While we still have six months to go, it’s going to be hard to top Can This Love Be Translated? as my favourite K-drama of the year. Kim Seon Ho and Go Youn Jung anchor this eccentric rom-com, which has both romance and comedy, but can simultaneously punch you in the gut with how it dissects self-love and one’s own sense of worth. Understanding the language of love might be one of the most difficult things in the world to ace, yet this rom-com gem soothes us into believing that it’s not an impossible task.
