1: Did you know that Reed’s Point Wharf (Lower Cove Terminal) was established in the 1850s? This area was the birthplace of Saint John’s transatlantic and steam ferry networks during an era when the city was the largest shipbuilding hub in British North America!
2: This Monday will mark the first full moon of summer, often called the “Strawberry Moon”. It has nothing to do with the moon’s color, however. It’s meant to mark the beginning of the short, sweet season when “June-bearing” wild strawberries are ripe and ready to be harvested!
