Fireworks are set to take place from the Westmorland Street Bridge at 10:40 p.m. This means the bridge will be closed from 7:30 p.m. until around midnight.Saint John’s Canada Day celebrations will also begin at noon and end with fireworks over Long Wharf at 10 p.m. There will be events at the city’s Ihtoli-maqahamok boardwalk amphitheatre, the Area 506 container village and Market Square.Other municipalities will have Canada Day celebrations as well.
