Festival Streetfood de Montréal is back for its sixth edition, July 16 to 19, 2026, at the Clock Tower Pier in the Old Port. In six years, the event has grown from a neighbourhood gathering into one of the largest street food festivals in Québec. This year, fifty kiosks from more than 25 different countries – a new record – take over the waterfront for four nights only. The festival is ready to welcome more than 70,000 visitors.
Lantern-lit alleys, charcoal smoke in the air, woks clattering, grills hissing, music that gets you moving. From jerk chicken sizzling on the grill to churros dusted in cinnamon sugar, sushi rolled to order, paella bubbling in a pan the size of a cartwheel, a golden Korean pogo, tacos that don’t fit in one hand, and somewhere between it all – mango sticky rice, sweet, warm, impossibly good. Every kiosk is its own world.
A FESTIVAL THAT KEEPS GROWING AND BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER
Launched in 2019, Festival Streetfood de Montréal established itself as a must-attend summer event in record time. Each edition has brought more cuisines, higher attendance, and a sharper experience. In 2026, the festival welcomes kiosks from more than 25 different countries for the first time — a new record. Over 150 dishes to taste, to share, to talk about — because the best way to bring people together is still to eat together.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2026
Loto-Québec fireworks Thursday night: July 16 is one of the official show dates of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec, the world’s largest fireworks competition. Launched from La Ronde and exploding over the St. Lawrence River, the show is fully visible from the Old Port, making Clock Tower Pier one of the best free viewing spots in the city that night.
• DJ sets every night: Latin, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, East Asian. A different vibe every night.
• Cocktails and craft beers: house cocktails and a wide selection of artisanal brews from local microbreweries.
• Cuisine de Manille defends its title: voted best kiosk at the 2025 festival, this staple of Filipino street food is back for another year. Can any kiosk take the crown? You decide.

ACCESSIBLE TO EVERY BUDGET
The festival is committed to keeping prices accessible – because culinary exploration should be for everyone. The vast majority of dishes are $10 and under, and each kiosk can offer at most two items between $10 and $17. It’s a model built for grazing: try the Korean pogo, grab a taco, circle back for the mango sticky rice. For families, students, and anyone who wants to eat their way through 25 countries without watching their wallet.
