Here’s the full star-studded 2026 Genesis Scottish Open field in all its glory…
The Genesis Scottish Open field will be packed with some of the game’s biggest stars as they get in a bit of links preparation ahead of The Open.
Heading to Renaissance for the $9 million Rolex Series event are 18 of the world’s top 25, including the top two ranked players in Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy – whose last three finishes here have been 1st, 4th, 2nd – as well as Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Ludvig Aberg, and Robert MacIntyre.
Wyndham Clark and Aaron Rai are also listed, meaning all four reigning major champions are in the field, as is Chris Gotterup, who will be in North Berwick to defend the title he won in spectacular fashion last year.
It will also be the first time Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton have teed up in a PGA Tour-run event since joining LIV Golf. The Legion XIII teammates are in the field as DP World Tour members.
Outside the top 25 but certainly of note are Brooks Koepka and Patrick Reed, who left LIV Golf in January, as is Adam Scott, who will then head to Royal Birkdale to compete in his 101st straight major championship.
And last but certainly not least, Shane Lowry will be teeing up in this event for just the second time in a decade as he looks to arrest his run of poor form ahead of another attempt to once again get his hands on the Claret Jug.
