Rush has postponed two upcoming tour dates after lead singer and bassist, Geddy Lee, revealed he has laryngitis and bronchitis.
In a statement shared on the band’s Instagram account, they apologized to fans for having to reschedule the June 30 and July 2 dates to later in the month and explained Lee’s illnesses: “After being evaluated by his doctors, [Geddy] has been advised that he needs additional time to rest and recover before returning to the stage.”

Both shows at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, have been pushed to July 11 and 13. Previously, Rush was set to play on June 24, which was then rescheduled to July 2 as a result of “unforeseen travel and border-related delays” impacting production.
The first Canadian stop for the band’s Fifty Something Tour is on Aug. 7 in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena.
