Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) in drag, Strictly favourite La Voix comparing Tracey the barmaid (Jane Slaughter) to a barcode, and one resident framing another for murder. It’s just an average end to the week in EastEnders!
Pride fever has hit Walford, and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) was wanting to pull out all the stops at The Prince Albert. She was furious to realise that Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) was planning her own event at The Vic, and that her bar’s manager Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) had failed to advertise their proceedings.
In a desperate bid for an act, Elaine got in touch with her old pal – the drag queen Drew Peacock (Paul Clayton) – and asked him if he could find someone to help out.
Despite being a very busy bee in the touring production of Annie, La Voix jetted into Walford and was quickly dragged through to the hallway of The Vic.
Amid her concerns about whether The Vic was a queer venue, Zoe and great grandmother Mo Harris (Laila Morse) pretended to be intergenerational lesbians. They were thrilled when Alfie appeared in full drag; leopard print, a black wig and a face full of makeup.

The show was a huge success, though Cindy and Elaine were furious. La Voix began recalling a story about a barmaid she once worked for who they struggled to tear away from the karaoke microphone, before realising that she was referring to Elaine!
Across the Square, something far more sinister was unfolding. Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) went to meet an old associate of Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) in the hope she could provide some answers about her behaviour. As viewers have seen, Bea has used artificial intelligence to imply that Honey’s devoted husband Billy (Perry Fenwick) has been cheating on her.
Things took a seriously dark turn when Bea forced Honey to burn some of Billy’s clothes in some form of witchcraft ritual.
The associate, Ruth, explained that she met Bea when she was vulnerable and welcomed her into the home she shared with her boyfriend. When their relationship soured, she burnt their house to the ground and her partner is now receiving skin grafts.
Before Honey had chance to relay this information to Billy, he was caught up in a vicious argument with Bea. She dropped the lunch she was preparing on the ground, fell over and cut her hand on some glass.

He ordered her to leave, before making his way to The Boxing Den to seek support from cousin Phil (Steve McFadden). In his absence, Bea trashed the living room, smeared gravy and blood across the fridge, dialled 999 before implying that there was some sort of struggle and then fled.
Honey arrived home and was met by two police officers, who surveyed the scene of the crime and assumed that it was a potential murder. They needed to speak to Billy as a matter of urgency.
At The Boxing Den, Honey and Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) broke the news to Billy that he was likely going to be arrested.
