The fast-rising indie-pop star will headline Rogers Arena this fall with Interpol and The Hellp joining the Vancouver stop.

For those of you who have been hooked to “back to friends” or “undressed” in your head for the past year, this is your opportunity to hear those songs in person.

After a Coachella breakout, 20-year-old singer-songwriter sombr has announced his first arena tour in North America, including Canadian stops in Vancouver. The You Are the Reason Tour lands at Rogers Arena on Sept. 29, marking the start of the arena leg of the tour after a summer of festival appearances.

He will be joined by Interpol and The Hellp at Rogers Arena. Canadian fans can also catch sombr at Osheaga Festival in Montreal, Fono Festival in Quebec City, and Sommo Festival in Prince Edward Island, before a Toronto arena show in November.

The 37-date tour spans a whirlwind year for New York-born artist Shane Boose, a.k.a sombr with his debut album I Barely Know Her rising to global streaming status through his breakthrough single “back to friends.” The tour coincided with his latest single, “Potential,” which further illustrates his meteoric trajectory from intimate venues to arenas within one year, along with a Grammy nomination to his name.

Tickets went on sale earlier this year following artist presales and the general sale is live now, with many tickets still up for grabs.

Whether you’ve been listening since his bedroom days or just recently stumbled upon him through TikTok and the charts, expect plenty of singalong moments when sombr makes his Vancouver arena debut this fall.
