Rafael said in his latest Friday notebook on X: “From my Friday notebook. Guido Vianello-David Adeleye in works for Itauma-Hrgovic card Aug. 29.”

The bout has not been officially announced or confirmed by Queensberry Promotions, but Rafael indicated discussions are underway to add it to the O2 Arena event in London.

The matchup would make sense following Vianello’s recent signing with Queensberry. The Italian heavyweight is coming off a career-best victory over Richard Torrez Jr. in April, while Adeleye returned to winning ways by stopping Jeamie Tshikeva before outpointing Dmytro Bezus.

If finalized, Vianello-Adeleye would strengthen an already heavyweight-focused card headlined by the unbeaten Moses Itauma against former world title challenger Filip Hrgovic.

Vianello (14-3-1, 12 KOs) is coming off the biggest win of his career after upsetting previously unbeaten Richard Torrez Jr. by split decision in April. The victory put the 30-year-old Italian back into contention in the heavyweight division and marked a successful debut under the Queensberry banner.

Adeleye is looking to rebound after last August’s unanimous decision defeat to Filip Hrgovic in Saudi Arabia. A win for either fighter would strengthen their position in Queensberry’s growing stable of heavyweight contenders.

Both heavyweights are looking to build momentum against quality opposition before pursuing bigger opportunities later this year. Neither Queensberry nor either fighter has publicly confirmed Rafael’s report yet.
