Bill Yin makes his DraftKings Pick6 selections for tonight’s slate of WNBA games.

We’ve got a three game slate tonight with the Valkyries visiting the Mystics at 7:30 PM EST, followed by the Sun visiting the Lynx at 8 PM. The night will conclude with the Sparks hosting the Storm at 10 PM EST.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.

Shakira Austin More than 8.5 Rebounds

Austin is the easiest rebound play on this slate because the number is just under her season average, and her recent form backs it up. She is averaging 9.2 RPG, and she has hit at least nine boards in four straight games, including 13, 12, and 16 before her nine-rebound outing against Atlanta. Golden State is a tough scoring matchup, but that shouldn’t be a major problem for this prop. The Valkyries allow the sixth-most total rebounds per game, so there should be enough missed-shot volume for Washington’s primary interior player to stay active on the glass tonight.

Dearica Hamby More than 7.5 Rebounds

Hamby is sitting at 7.9 RPG, so this line gives us a little bit of room. The matchup helps, too, with Seattle allowing the second-most total rebounds per game in the WNBA and 48.3 per game over its last three. Hamby has cleared this number in four of her last five listed games, and her ability to rebound from multiple frontcourt positions gives this pick more paths than a pure center-dependent prop. The Sparks’ offense can be uneven, but Hamby is a reliable choice at 7.5 boards.

Natisha Hiedeman More than 16.5 Points

Hiedeman is in an interesting spot heading into this matchup tonight. She is averaging 15.5 PPG, so the line is asking for slightly more than her season average, but Los Angeles is the defense to target if we’re going to take this approach. The Sparks allow a league-worst 94.3 PPG, rank last in defensive efficiency, and have been somehow even worse lately, giving up 111.0 PPG over their last three. They also allow 42.1 points in the paint per game, which should help Seattle generate easier offense and keep Hiedeman from needing a consistent jumper tonight. This is more about attacking the slate’s weakest defensive setup than blindly chasing Hiedeman’s recent scoring log.

Create a Pick Set

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.

Enter an Amount

Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

Sweat Your Picks

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.

Compete for Prizes

Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
