Course moved from Omischl Sports Complex while construction continues, with a permanent location still under review
North Bay disc golfers have a new place to play after the city’s disc golf course was relocated to Laurentian Ski Hill.
The City of North Bay says the 18-hole course was moved from the Omischl Sports Complex because of ongoing construction and is now open for public use.
The course entrance is located at the top of Laurentian Ski Hill beside the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority’s Interpretive Centre, where signage guides players to the starting area.
Players are required to bring their own discs and are asked to follow signs and help keep the course clean.
A QR code at the entrance also allows players to access a digital course map and scorecard through the UDisc app.
The City says the course’s long-term location remains under review.
