Alberta police say one person is dead following a roadside interaction near the community of Irricana, northeast of Calgary.
Airdrie RCMP say officers were responding to a 911 call Friday on Highway 9, just outside the town, at 6:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers say they located a male suspect, and after an altercation, at least one officer discharged their service weapon.
