Tuesday at the Calgary Stampede brings another full day of rodeo, live music, agriculture, family programming, Indigenous culture, food demonstrations and evening entertainment.
The July 7 schedule includes the Calgary Stampede Powwow presented by TC Energy, Piikani/Kainai Nation Day at Elbow River Camp, the World Stock Dog Championship, the Reining Showcase, SuperDogs and a Coca-Cola Stage headline performance by deadmau5.
Tuesday at Stampede Park
All-day events include Canadian Armed Forces Displays, the Kids’ Midway, interpretive programming at Elbow River Camp presented by Enbridge, Live Sand Sculpting at the BMO Centre’s Western Oasis and market vendors at The Market.
Agriculture programming continues throughout the day with Born To Buck presented by Holt Renfrew, Cattle Trail, Country Critters, Milky Way Dairy displays and demonstrations, Draft Horse Town, Horse Haven, Nutrien Ag-tivity in the City and the Sheep & Pork Showcases.
The Stampede Rodeo is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at GMC Stadium.
The Evening Show is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
Stampede Powwow continues
The Calgary Stampede Powwow presented by TC Energy continues Tuesday at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
The event highlights Indigenous dancing, singing and drumming.
The Powwow is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
Elbow River Camp programming includes Council Tipi, flag raising, Camp Riders, Horse Culture, tipi viewing, Traditional Games, interpretive tours and Sharing Our Culture.
Piikani/Kainai Nation Day is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Elbow River Camp.
Flag lowering is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Agriculture and western events
The World Stock Dog Championship presented by Airbnb is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. in the Nutrien Western Event Centre.
Draft Horse Demos are scheduled for 10:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the Northern Lights Arena in the Agriculture Zone presented by Brandt.
Horse Haven Equine Showcases are scheduled for 11:15 a.m., 2:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Stampede Showriders are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in the Northern Lights Arena and 4 p.m. in the Nutrien Western Event Centre.
The Reining Showcase pre-show is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., followed by the Reining Showcase at 7 p.m. in the Nutrien Western Event Centre.
The Charms are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in the Nutrien Western Event Centre.

SuperDogs: Full Throttle is scheduled at the Dog Bowl Arena in Community Park South at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Freestyle Motocross is scheduled at the Monster Energy Compound at noon, 2:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The High Dive Show is scheduled at The Grand Staircase at 1 p.m., 3:20 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
In the BMO Kids’ Zone, Paw Patrol: Dino Rescue! is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. and 4 p.m.

A Safeway cooking demo is scheduled for 11 a.m.
An international cuisine demo with Roy Oh of Roy’s Korean Kitchen is scheduled for noon.
The Taste of Stampede Culinary Cup, featuring chefs from leading restaurants in Calgary and surrounding Alberta, is scheduled for 1:15 p.m.
A specialty chef demonstration for Taste of Stampede is scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
An international cooking demo with Chef G of Aama Nepalese Cuisine is scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
Taste of Stampede: Anna Olson’s Prairie Table is scheduled for 7 p.m.
At the Stampede Cellar Champion Wine Experience, acoustic act Danny Nix is scheduled for 1:45 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
Dueling Piano Kings are scheduled for 5:30 p.m., 7:15 p.m. and 9 p.m.
An aerial act is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
Live music and evening entertainment
The Coca-Cola Stage lineup includes Gatano at 8 p.m. and deadmau5 at 9:30 p.m.
Nashville North has Devin Cooper at 4 p.m., Morgan Klaiber at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., Zach McPhee at 8:45 p.m., Ernest at 10:15 p.m. and Foxx Worthee at 11:59 p.m.
The Big Four Roadhouse schedule includes Kate & The Comets at 4 p.m., 5:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., followed by The Marshall Tucker Band at 9 p.m.
The Grand Staircase schedule includes guest band performances, the Stampede Showband, The Grand Staircase Show featuring the Stampede Showband and Band of Outriders.
Community Stage programming at the BMO Centre includes GlobalFest performances, Calgary Public Library programming, Midway Melodies Karaoke and line dancing lessons.
The Stage of Wonders has On Air! performances scheduled throughout the day.
