There is another full day of rodeo, agriculture, music, family programming and live entertainment on the Calgary Stampede schedule for Wednesday, July 8.

The day includes all-day displays, agricultural showcases, children’s programming, live music, the Stampede Rodeo, the Evening Show and late-night performances at Nashville North.

All-day events

Several attractions are scheduled throughout the day, including Canadian Armed Forces Displays at the Kids’ Midway, interpretive programming at Elbow River Camp Presented By Enbridge and live sand sculpting at Western Oasis in the BMO Centre.

The Market, Born To Buck presented by Holt Renfrew, Cattle Trail, Horse Haven, Nutrien Ag-tivity in the City, Draft Horse Town, blacksmiths and farm equipment displays are also part of the Wednesday lineup.

Agriculture programming continues with the Country Critters, Milky Way Dairy Display and demonstrations in the Agriculture Barns, as well as sheep and pork showcases in the Nutrien Western Event Centre.

Morning highlights

The World Stock Dog Championship presented by Airbnb begins at 9:15 a.m. in the Nutrien Western Event Centre.

A guest band performance is scheduled for 9:35 a.m. at The Grand Staircase.

Family programming begins at 10 a.m. with Bubble Playshop in the BMO Kids’ Zone and Full Throttle at the Dog Bowl Arena in Community Park South.

Songwriters’ Round is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Western Oasis in the BMO Centre.

Freestyle Motocross is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. at the Monster Energy Compound.

Team T&J Present Kids’ Dino Stompin’ Jamboree is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. in the BMO Kids’ Zone.

Cooking Demo: Safeway is scheduled for 11 a.m. in the BMO Centre.

Paw Patrol: Dino Rescue! is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. in the BMO Kids’ Zone, followed by a Paw Patrol Meet & Greet at noon.

Afternoon events

The Kids’ Day Parade is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Elbow River Camp Presented By Enbridge.

The Stampede Rodeo begins at 1:30 p.m. at GMC Stadium.

The Youth Agri-Food Culinary Challenge is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. in the BMO Centre.

Gabby’s Dollhouse Dance Party is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. in the BMO Kids’ Zone, followed by a Gabby’s Dollhouse Meet & Greet at 2:40 p.m.

The World Stock Dog Championship Finals presented by Airbnb begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Nutrien Western Event Centre.

Youth Powwow is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Elbow River Camp Presented By Enbridge.

Live music and entertainment

Coca-Cola Stage programming includes Partyof2 at 5:30 p.m., Raf-Saperra at 7 p.m. and Chingy at 8:30 p.m.

Nashville North features Morgan Klaiber at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., Devin Cooper at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., Jade Eagleson at 8:45 p.m., Bailey Zimmerman at 10:30 p.m. and Drew Gregory at 11:59 p.m.

At The Big Four Roadhouse, Kate & The Comets are scheduled for 4 p.m., 5:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., followed by Johnny Reid at 9 p.m.

Dueling Piano Kings are scheduled in the Stampede Cellar Champion Wine Experience at 5:30 p.m., 7:15 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Evening schedule

The Rocky Mountain Cup Pre-Show begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Nutrien Western Event Centre, followed by Rocky Mountain Cup Team Roping at 7 p.m.

The Evening Show begins at 7:15 p.m. at GMC Stadium.

The Grand Staircase Show featuring the Stampede Showband is scheduled for 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Flag Lowering is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Elbow River Camp Presented By Enbridge.
