A woman is in life-threatening condition after she was struck by a vehicle in downtown Calgary on Wednesday, according to police.
Reports came in at around 1:30 a.m. for the incident on Centre Street and 5 Avenue SW.
EHS confirms they took a person to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Roads were closed on 5 Avenue between Centre Street and 1 Street, but reopened at around 5:30 a.m.
There’s no word on the driver or their whereabouts.
No further information was provided by police.
