The film marks Pavish’s second outing after Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam , directed by Dhanush. With Love Oh Love , featuring Pavish and Naga Durga in the lead roles, director Magesh Rajendran says he is exploring the financial realities people face today through a love story.He tells us, “The film’s story revolves around the relationship between an upper middle-class boy and a lower middle-class girl. But at its core, it talks about economic struggles. Despite everything he goes through, he Praveen Tyagarajan never lets his pain show and always wears a smile,” Magesh says.The filmmaker reveals that Selvaraghavan was the first person he cast for the film and was unaware they would approach Pavish. “When I narrated the story to Pavish, we didn’t tell him Selvaraghavan sir was part of the project,” he shares. The film also features director KS Ravikumar, as the hero’s father.Addressing the response to the trailer, Magesh says, “The trailer may have given the impression that the film is about a conflict between men and women, but that’s not what it’s about. A trailer should never show a film in its entirety, and I’m confident that those criticising the film now will have a different opinion after watching it.”The director also credits his two producers Love Oh Love ’s producers for standing firmly behind the project. “The production team is always the biggest support to a project.
