Investigators will examine local surveillance cameras in the Ville-Marie borough Friday in an effort to determine the circumstances of an armed assault that sent a 32-year-old man to hospital.
Patrolling officers found the victim around 3 a.m. near the corner of Ste-Catherine St. and Hotel-de-Ville Ave. He was conscious and suffering from stab wounds to the upper body, though police said his life is not in danger.
Early Friday police were still trying to determine where the assault took place.
