Article contentAMERICAN STAR POWER
I am tired of seeing the same story repeat itself with Ottawa Senators. Losing star players for close to nothing and then telling fans that what they picked up will be just as good.

It is now more clear than ever that the gap is getting bigger between American teams and Canadian teams. The money is all in the States and so are the star players.
Good luck, Sens. I’ll keep watching.

NOT BUYING EVEN SPLIT
I have always taken polls with a grain of salt, knowing that it’s not just how the question is asked, but to whom, when and where.
This latest poll by Nanos Research is a great example. It says that there is an even split between those who approve of the high-speed rail project and those who don’t.
Not for one bloody second do I believe this is true, and the pollsters should be ashamed of themselves for coming up with these results.
Where did you take this poll, outside of the train stations in Montreal and Toronto?

ISN’T THAT RICH
Re: Federal memo considers legal action against social media posting false info, online, July 3
I’m sorry, but I couldn’t help but laugh while reading the above article. The biggest purveyor of “false and misleading information” is the Liberal government. These are the people who are going to determine what is or isn’t misinformation? Well, isn’t that rich.
Unfortunately, the public trust won’t be restored until we have a government that cares about Canada and Canadians, and that certainly isn’t the one that we’ve had for the last 11 years.
