Air Canada passengers travelling through Montreal can book a shuttle service between Montreal-Trudeau International Airport and the Palais des congrès de Montréal for $9 each way.
According to information on the airline’s website, the service runs every 15 to 30 minutes, with up to 37 departures a day. Passengers travelling to the airport depart from the convention centre at 1001 Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle, while arriving travellers can board the shuttle outside Gate 7 at YUL.
“Summer is a particularly busy time at YUL, and this year is even busier as we undertake major construction projects to improve access to the airport,” Aéroports de Montréal spokesperson Émilie Chevrette told The Gazette.
Chevrette said the service complements existing transit options, including the 747 airport bus and the 815 bus route linking YUL with the Des Sources REM station.
Air Canada says the shuttle operates directly between the airport and downtown Montreal. Passengers heading to the airport bring their luggage onboard and check it in at Air Canada counters upon arrival.
The airline describes the service as an alternative to other ground transportation options connecting YUL and downtown, including taxis, ride-hailing services and public transit.
In October, Trudeau Airport closed its multi-level parking facility. It’s expected that the new public road drop-off and pickup area will be completed by 2028. The parking lot will be rebuilt by 2031.
