An NBA Summer League hug has NBA fans wondering if Denver Nuggets star forward Peyton Watson could be headed to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Watson gave Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka a hug during Summer League festivities on Friday, which invites lots of speculation since Watson could be on the outs in Denver over getting a new contract.
The Lakers would be a really intriguing fit for Watson, although we’re sure other teams are in the mix should he leave the Nuggets via a sign-and-trade.
We’re not sure what Los Angeles would send back to Denver in that case, but now, we’re thinking all about it.
