More than 50 people were at the Dominion Sanctuary Parish Family Fun Day on Saturday afternoon in St. Vital Park.
There was food to enjoy, as well as games and activities for people to participate in, such as tug of war, soccer, and charades.
The annual occasion began a couple of years ago to bring families together.
“We started two years ago,” says organizer, Samuel.

Celebrating and having fun

The goal of the church is to see people have fun in God’s presence.
“Family Fun Day is a day for everyone to come together, to leave work, forget about everything in the moment and be in the presence of God and family,” shares Samuel.
To celebrate the day, the church had prizes to recognize winners of the various games.
“We have medals, we have trophies to celebrate everyone’s hard work and have a good time,” says Samuel.
