The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) said emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle collision at about 3 a.m.
Police said the driver left the roadway for reasons that remain under investigation before striking a tree. No other vehicles were involved.
The man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
