Link Charges are an item connected to Mega Raids in Pokémon Go, and they were introduced alongside Super Mega Raids in February 2026.

What are Link Charges in Pokémon Go?
Link Charges are used to enter Mega Raids and Super Mega Raids in Pokémon Go. Though, if you don’t have any Link Charges, you can still use a Premium Battle Pass. You must make your choice of raid-access-currency before joining the lobby, and this is when you’ll use it. It’s also important to note that you will get more value for your Link Charges when attending these raids in person; a regular in-person Mega Raid, for example, costs 150 Link Charges.

If you’re joining a Super Mega Raid remotely, you will need a Remote Raid Pass and 200 Link Charges. Joining a regular Mega Raid remotely still only requires a Remote Raid Pass.
Link Charges are kept in the Link Holder, which can hold a maximum of 600 Link Charges. You’ll automatically receive the Link Holder after obtaining your first Link Charges. It can be found in the ‘Key Item’ section of your ‘Item Storage’ and keeps track of how many Link Charges you currently have. (It’s also impossible to delete, so don’t worry about losing it.)
Go Fest 2026: Global has arrived! There’s two quests – Genetic Mastery and A Thunderous Discovery – plus you’ll want to know the habitat hour and raid schedule. Take the time to add Bouffalant and Tropius to your Pokédex too. Don’t forget about the Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Mewtwo X counters as well.

Like other resources, such as Max Particles, certain events might see an increase in the rate at which you can collect Link Charges.
