Steve’s Music, the 61-year-old chain of music stores that earlier this year announced it was shutting down because of financial pressures and online competition, will auction off the remaining inventory of its flagship store on Ste-Catherine St. E. on July 22-23.
Continental Auctioneers will conduct the online auction in two sessions: drums, accessories and other percussion instruments on July 22 and guitars, amplifiers and related accessories on July 23. Bidding will begin at 9 a.m. local time and an in-person inspection can be carried at Steve’s at 150 Ste-Catherine St. E. on July 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
