The Korea Boxing Commission (KBM) has selected the monthly best player and best rookie.
Kim Hyo-joon (19, Boxing Virus) was honored as MVP and Song Se-young (19, FW1 Boxing Gym) was honored as Rookie of the Year. Kim Hyo-joon, the best player in June 2026, will receive 1 million won in prize money, and Song Se-young, the best rookie in June 2026, will receive 500,000 won in prize money.
Kim Hyo-joon participated as a challenger in the KBM lightweight (61.2kg) title match hosted by Nova Boxing (CEO Moon Byung-soo) and won a KO in the fourth round, becoming a new champion. He is currently ranked 11th in the Eastern Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF).

Song Se-young made her professional boxing debut at the FW1 promotion (CEO Choi Wan-il) and won by unanimous decision. All three assistant judges of the Korean Boxing Commission scored 60-54.
Song Se-young, who appeared on SBS’s ‘Gifted Exploration Team’ in 2018, won the gold medal from 2022 to 2025 ▲ National Youth Sports Festival (Gyeongbuk Sports Middle School) ▲ National Sports Festival ▲ Korea Boxing Association Presidential Cup (Gyeongbuk Sports High School).
