Federal government to make announcement on the Port of Vancouver in Delta, B.C.

Federal Transport Minister Steven MacKinnon is expected to make a “significant” announcement about the Port of Vancouver in Delta, B.C., Thursday at 9 a.m. PT.

He will speak alongside other politicians and officials including Jill McKnight, federal minister of veterans affairs; Mike Farnworth, provincial minister of transportation; Tsawwassen First Nation Chief Laura Cassidy; and Peter Xotta, president and CEO of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.
