A 42-year-old man remains in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Monday evening. 

Winnipeg police say they were called to a collision involving a cyclist near Dufferin Avenue and Selkirk Street just after 6 p.m.

Cyclist seriously injured

When officers arrived, paramedics were already on scene providing medical care for the cyclist. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in critical condition. 

The driver remained on scene and spoke with police.
