HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison men’s soccer has announced the addition of defender Alessandro Castorina to the 2026 roster on Thursday.
“Alessandro is a versatile defender who grew up in Italy playing at a very high level,” said Zazenski. “He reads the game extremely well and remains calm under pressure. We believe Alessandro will be an impactful defender for our group and can contribute anywhere across the back line.”

Castorina will be the 16th member of the Dukes’ recruiting class for this season. JMU kicks off the season at home against Rider (Aug. 20) and Gardner-Webb (Aug. 24) as part of the Fairfield by Marriott Invitational.
