Crews are battling a large fire that broke out at an industrial bakery in Etobicoke.
Emergency services were called to the area of Carlingview Drive and Attwell Drive shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Toronto police said heavy black smoke was reported in the area.
Toronto Fire Services (TFS) said crews initially encountered a fire in an oven and shortly extinguished the flames.
However, the fire had spread to the roof of the building, TFS said, noting that their response had been upgraded to a third alarm.
Staff inside the bakery were able to evacuate, and no injuries have been reported.
Images from the scene show firefighters on aerial ladders spraying water on the building. Heavy flames and thick smoke can be seen billowing out of the building.
The cause, origin, and circumstances of the fire are unknown.
