SALISBURY, N.C. — NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team Niece Motorsports and barbecue brand Blues Hog have teamed up with driver and automotive personality Cleetus McFarland to launch a fan sweepstakes offering a behind-the-scenes Talladega Superspeedway race weekend experience.
The “Burnouts & Burnt Ends with Cleetus McFarland” sweepstakes, announced Friday, will award one winner and a guest VIP access during the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race weekend at Talladega later this season.
The promotion combines Blues Hog’s championship barbecue heritage with McFarland’s growing popularity in motorsports, creating a fan-focused experience centered around the No. 4 Niece Motorsports team.
The grand prize package includes garage and pit road access, seats atop the No. 4 team’s pit box during the Truck Series race, meet-and-greet opportunities with McFarland and teammate Landen Lewis, a tour of the team’s race hauler, signed Blues Hog and Cleetus merchandise, a Blues Hog barbecue prize pack and $500 toward travel expenses.
“I’m pumped to race our Blues Hog No. 4 truck in Talladega,” McFarland said. “The Burnouts and Burnt Ends sweepstakes is an awesome program they’ve put together, and I’m happy to be a part of it. Huge shoutout to them for doing something this cool for the fans.”
The sweepstakes is the latest activation in a partnership announced earlier this season between Blues Hog and Niece Motorsports. The agreement includes sponsorship of McFarland, Landen Lewis and NASCAR Cup Series driver Ross Chastain during the 2026 Truck Series campaign.
Blues Hog President Tim Scheer, known in barbecue circles as the “Tallest Man in BBQ,” said the promotion reflects the company’s commitment to engaging race fans beyond traditional sponsorship opportunities.
“When the Tallest Man in BBQ teams up with the Tallest Man in NASCAR, you know we’re going big,” Scheer said. “Burnouts & Burnt Ends brings together everything we love: championship barbecue, passionate fans and the excitement of race day.”
Niece Motorsports CEO Cody Efaw said the promotion demonstrates how sponsors can maximize their involvement in NASCAR by creating unique fan experiences.
“It’s rewarding to see partners really jump in and make the most of their investment beyond decals on a race truck,” Efaw said. “This sweepstakes is further proof of their commitment to activate in unique and exciting ways.”
McFarland, one of motorsports’ most recognizable digital personalities with millions of online followers, has continued expanding his racing résumé in recent seasons. After competing in the ARCA Menards Series in 2025, he posted a runner-up finish at Talladega Superspeedway earlier this year and earned his first career ARCA pole at Michigan International Speedway.
The Freedom Factory owner also has gained experience in NASCAR competition. McFarland made his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Daytona International Speedway earlier this season and later competed at Michigan. He has also made two NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series starts for Richard Childress Racing.
McFarland is scheduled to return to Truck Series competition behind the wheel of the No. 4 Blues Hog Chevrolet during the Love’s RV Stop 225 at Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 23.
For Blues Hog, a company that has grown from its barbecue roots into a nationally recognized brand, the promotion represents another effort to connect with a passionate motorsports audience while showcasing its award-winning products.
The sweepstakes gives one lucky fan the opportunity to experience Talladega from inside the team’s operation, offering a rare look behind the scenes at one of NASCAR’s most iconic tracks.
