Peel police have identified two teenagers as suspects in a fatal shooting in Brampton.
On July 5, officers responded to reports of a shooting near Edenbrook Hill Drive and Earlsbridge Boulevard around 3:40 p.m. and found a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound, Peel police said in a news release.
Police said the man was taken to a trauma centre, where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators have now identified two 17-year-old boys from Brampton as suspects in the case. They are both wanted on charges for first-degree murder.
Police are warning members of the public to not approach the boys, as they are considered “armed and dangerous.” Instead police urge residents to call 911 if they are spotted.
“Anyone found harbouring or assisting the suspect may be arrested and charged,” said police, adding the suspects should seek legal counsel and surrender.
