A section of a street in Winnipeg’s West End area remains closed several hours after a hydro pole, traffic light and bus shack were damaged in a collision on Sunday morning.
Police told CBC News that officers were dispatched to the intersection of Sargent Avenue and Balmoral Street just before 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Police said the driver was treated and cleared by officers at the scene. No injuries were reported, according to police.
Hydro officials are on scene, police said.
Northbound Balmoral is still closed at Sargent. Southbound Balmoral is down to one lane, police told CBC on Sunday afternoon.

Michael Richards, who was walking in the area Sunday morning and saw the crash, said it all happened so quickly, like at the “flick of a switch.”
“Within 10 seconds everything changed,” he said, adding his “adrenalin was going” because his child was with him at the time.
He saw people run out of the bus shelter to avoid the vehicle.
“I [saw] them all scatter. They didn’t even know what way to go,” Richards said.
“Thankfully everyone’s safe.”
