SAULT FILM FESTIVAL

Families are invited to join the Sault Film Festival for two free family-friendly outdoor movie screenings in August. Taking place at Bellevue Park Bandshell, these community events aim to create memorable evenings where neighbours, friends, and families can enjoy films together.
Building on the success of last year’s movie nights, which drew more than 200 attendees, the Sault Film Festival is excited to once again provide free, family-friendly entertainment for the community.
The featured films include Cars on Tuesday, Aug. 18, followed by Elemental on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot, with seating available starting at 8:30 p.m.
Admission is free, and complimentary popcorn will be available for all attendees while supplies last. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for a fun evening outdoors.
“Film has a unique way of bringing people together, and that’s exactly what we hope these movie nights will do,” said Rebeka Herron, vice president of the Sault Film Festival. “By making these events free and accessible, we’re continuing our mission of building a stronger community through the shared experience of film.”
