Food allergies are something many parents worry about, but there’s one type that is not very well known and is often misdiagnosed. A new Montreal study is shedding light on food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome, or fpies, a condition that mainly affects babies and young children. Dr. Moshe Ben-Shoshan, pediatric allergist and immunologist at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and lead author of the study, joins Global News Morning’s host Laura Casella with more.
