Alberta has had a fair share of severe weather this season. According to the Northern Tornadoes Project, to date this year, 26 tornadoes have been recorded in the province — a 50 per cent increase compared to previous years. Dr. David Sills, director of the Northern Tornadoes Project based out of Western University, joined Global News Morning Edmonton to talk more about what could be causing the increase in dangerous weather.
