OPP apprehended the accused at a business in Ignace.

IGNACE — A drug-trafficking investigation in Ignace has led to the arrest of a resident of Toronto.

OPP announced Tuesday they apprehended the the 18-year-old accused in the community late Monday afternoon at a local business.

Officers seized suspected illicit drugs including cocaine as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia and Canadian currency.

The individual was charged with possession of cocaine for trafficking and with possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, and was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
