VPD searches for missing elderly man with advanced Alzheimer’s
Vancouver – The Vancouver Police Department requests urgent public assistance to locate a 76-year-old man with advanced Alzheimer’s, who was last seen exiting the Brittania Park ice rink in East Vancouver today at 1:50 p.m.
Mr. Charles Johnson is described as a white man, 6’1” tall, weighing 225 lbs with a heavy build, short balding white hair, and a short white beard. He was last seen wearing a black fedora hat, blue striped golf shirt under a black summer jacket, blue pants, and black slip-on shoes with white soles.
Mr. Johnson is known to walk long distances in a straight line or sit down to wait for assistance. Anyone that sees Mr. Johnson is asked to call 911 and stay with him until first responders arrive.
